It’s never too late to start straightening-up your diet so I’ve listed five of my favorite shakes for leaning out. I have used these when prepping for shows, modeling events and summer vacations. The best part is they are tasty and easy to whip up for on-the-go! Below each recipe, I’ve listed a few benefits as to why they are great for boosting fat loss!

Strawberry Slim Sensation

Directions: Blend on high for 1-2 minutes.

I love strawberries because they are high in vitamin C and very low in calories. Vitamin C contributes in fat oxidation which helps your body utilize fat during exercise! Strawberries can also help you control your blood sugar levels and avoid those energy crashes late in the day.

Green Vegan Energizer

Directions: Blend on high for 1-2 minutes.

Spinach is a great source of folate and iron. Folate helps your body convert food into energy while iron transports energizing oxygen to your cells. Coconut oil is mainly made up of medium-chain triglycerides or “MCT” which the body digests differently than long-chain fats (such as nuts, avocado or fish). MCT’s don’t rely on other enzymes for adsorption so your body instantly converts it to energy making it great for fat-burning!

  • 8oz unsweetened cashew milk
  • 1 scoop MaxPro Elite Chocolate Cake
  • ½ tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ frozen medium banana
  • 3-4 ice cubes

Directions: Blend on high for 1-2 minutes.

Cocoa powder has several benefits but the main reason I love this shake is it helps me keep my sanity when reducing calories. Sweets tend to be a weakness for many people but chocolate especially. Incorporating cocoa is a great way to satisfy your sweet tooth without the guilt!

Ultimate Metabolism Booster

  • 8oz unsweetened cashew or almond milk
  • 1 scoop MaxPro Elite Cinnamon Roll
  • ¼ – ½ tsp ground cinnamon (if you like extra cinnamon!)
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed oil
  • 1-2 handful ice cubes

Directions: Blend on high for 1-2 minutes.

Cinnamon is a great replacement for sweeteners. It can help increase your metabolism and reduce bloating! Flaxseed offers many heart and brain-health benefits. In terms of weight loss it aids in digestion, so if you struggle with constipation, flax oil is a great natural laxative!

Peanut butter increases a hormone called peptide YY, which promotes fullness and satiety. It’s a great source of protein and fiber which also helps reduce your appetite and keep you feeling full. Anyone dieting can relate to the hunger pains, so adding PB in the mix can really help with holding you over to your next meal.
