Ever since I was a child, dance has always been a huge part of life and a very important key to my fitness success. After taking my very first dance class at the young age of 2, I was hooked and the rest was history. My passion for dance carried all the way through high school where I was the captain of my drill team as well as a competitive studio dancer.
Soon after that, I took my skills to a professional level where I danced for both the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL) and Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Now, as a professional dancer, I am always trying to find new and innovative ways to stay in shape and for me, Zumba fitness has done just that. Not only has It allowed me to combine two of my greatest passions, it has also helped keep me in the shape that I am in today. Zumba dance helps build endurance, stamina and overall muscle tone.
